"The best thing about the hotel is its location. For those who go on a cruise the location is the best - a short taxi ride or an easy 10-minute walk. We also greatly enjoyed our dinner at a small restaurant just around the corner. However, in the hotel itself we had quite a few problems. The coffee machine in our room was not working, and, when we told the receptionist about it, we were told that maintenance people would be available much later. The next morning it still wasn’t fixed. Another problem was the air conditioner. No matter how we changed the settings on it, it was blowing very cold air, and it was doing it very loudly. Didn’t have good night sleep because of it. The included breakfast is a paper bag with a few items which we would not choose ourselves. There was no juice or eggs or anything hot except for coffee. I would like to mention that one of the receptionists, Xavier, was very nice and helpful."

"Decent enough Hotel with comfortable bed and bathroom facilities as expected. Disappointing menu for evening dinner, not a great choice if you don’t like fried food! The other issue is all the extra charges that are levied on your charge card which weren’t previously mentioned when booking the room with breakfast included. This needs to be better explained to Customers. Location ok, near a few subway stations so access to central Manhattan was fine."

"If you are looking to save money as I was, this is a good spot, but I didn't realize it also offers hourly rentals which they had a sign showing the rates for. I stayed here to be close to DUMBO where my conference was and it was a convenient walk to there with a close by Wegmans which is a great spot to pick up drinks or other food items. The towels were pretty beat up and thin and the water pressure was really low so something to note..."
