Hotel murah di Broughton

"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"The hotel lobby and the room I stayed in had been recently refurbished. Other areas of the building were tired and not to the same standard. The tap water in the room ran yellow for a while and the shower didn't drain. The hotel is under refurbishment so hopefully when it's complete the experience will be consistent throughout. On a whole, it was good value for money but not as modern/fancy as the pictures portray."

"A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch. Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now)."

"I liked the design of the room, amenities and the A/C worked perfectly in the greatest heat outside. It was moden and quiet inside the room. Our windows were facing the car park and motorway services, so occasionally a noise from cars could be heard. But we slept well and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could do with some restoration soon, as signs of wear could be visible. But overall for the price we paid and convenient location it was a very good choice."

"The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat. The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t. "When I turned on to the drive I was struck by the stunning tudor style building and grounds. I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff when I checked in, and clear directions on how to get to my room. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The decor was a little dated, but you could argue inkeeping for the period of the property. The grounds are stunning."

You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. "In a great position to walk within Chester and situated next to the canal. The hotel was clean and the facilities had everything needed. I took the opportunity of having a facial in the spa...excellent! Very picturesque in the evening and bar is a comfortable environment for a single woman like myself to have a nightcap. Overall I highly recommend."

"Stayed 1st - 3rd of June. Absolutely amazing stay for our mini moon. The staff, the food, the room were all incredible. "We couldn't fault anything. Staff we're friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast both we're very good. We stayed in the Brewers Cottage a really lovely cosy room. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for the end of July."
