"Vila Luz is a great family hotel. We stayed in the upper section which has an extremely heated pool. A bit warm when the temperature is over 30celsius, great when the temperature dropped to 20celcius. The bigger, lower pool is less heated and great when it's very hot. "Clean and quiet hotel with a beachy boho vibe and lovely garden. The little kitchen in our suite had everything we needed for a couple of meals in. It’s a short walk to the centre and boardwalk/beaches. The staff were very kind and one of them saved the day by sorting out the tv for us so we could watch the football game! Great place to stay."

"The location is excellent and within walking distance of everything. The streets are narrow, but Uber was still able to pick us up and drop us off at the hotel entrance. The room, bathroom, and shower were spacious. The shower had good water pressure, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the room felt outdated and still used physical keys. "We enjoyed our 4 days at the Villa. It's a charming place and walkable to two beaches. Unfortunately Praia Camilo was closed due to some works so we had to go Praia Dona Ana. Breakfast was great with a nice choice of many options and the rooms were clean. The staff was helpful."
