"Parking lot was closed so had long walk from our vehicle to the lobby. Old When we checked out it had been storming. Same distance to the vehicle. Not informed about the closed lot. Room was not cleaned for uor 2nd day. A towel used for makeup removal was placed Back for reuse. Local employees said since we used Expedia to reserve rooms they could resolve any complaints."

"Lovely hotel in downtown Des Moines. I stayed for the Des Moines half marathon, and the hotel was a block from the finish line. An added benefit was the Saturday farmer's market a block from the hotel!"

"Room smelled horrible. Like dirty wet laundry or something. There was someone’s shirt in the pullout sofa. We were only here like 8 hours but it was a long 8 hours. Breakfast corner was really nice and rest is the hotel was great. Just the room. It was not a good experience."

"The room was huge. So much space to move around. Thank goodness for the toiletries bc we were only staying for 1 night & pack very light. The breakfast was ready before the set time, so whomever is leaving before 6am on the weekend will surely get a bite in before heading out."
