"Overall the hotel was very nice, the only let down was something outside of it's control in that there were a few people doing loud wheelspins etc on the road outside which made it hard to sleep. Other than that, service was lovely, breakfast was great with a really good selection available. Parking spaces were small, but I'd say that was to be expected."

"It was the most relaxing weekend you could ask for, it was so peaceful and the staff were amazing. Can’t recommend enough a weekend at Retreat East. Also the spa and food was amazing. "

Reception changed our rooms to ground floor on request at arrival, as allocated rooms were not easily accessed, lots of stairs up and down and corridors. Breakfast ok on Saturday but not very hot, tea and coffee machine dispensing very weak and tasteless coffee and tea. Parking good, but quite along waln to reception. "
