"The rooms are amazingly clean always, we've stay here every time were in town. The staff this last trip went over and above making sure we had what we needed to make sure our trip was comfortable. The breakfast was incredible (always), so many choices for hot or cold breakfast and what makes it stand out above the other hotels is that the hot breakfast choices change daily and you can build a grab and go bag if your on the run and cant sit down for breakfast. "It was very quiet which was nice. Nice big fridge too. The room smelled really heavy of smoke though. My key kept having to be rekeyed. The property needs severe updating. There’s masking tape on door locks and rips in the carpet. Carpet and furniture is very old. There’s only an option to watch streaming. No real cable."

"We stayed in Chico during a 2 week road trip in Northern California. Our room was perfect for what we needed, a nice sofa to lounge and watch some TV shows, good WiFi connection, spacious bathroom, clean and cozy bed, and blackout shades. We were a bit hungry and the cafe provided options we found appealing and tasty for dinner. Recommend the location as it is close to major retailers in case you need to resupply."

"Staff friendly, helpful. Came right up when TV remote wasn't working. Room clean, quiet. We did not eat breakfast but it looked appetizing. There is a Taco Truck right across the street that had excellent food (Street tacos, quesadilla and sopes)at reasonable prices."

"Room was very clean and staff were helpful. breakfast was minimal at best. It took 15 - 20 pumps on the coffee bottle to get a reasonably full cup of coffee. Dispensers for soap and skin cream aren't checked so they run out. Everything else worked well - hot water, shower, A/C, etc. If you need a place to shower and sleep, this place fills the bill nicely. If you need something more, it comes up short."

"Starting off there were cockroaches at the room, the microwave and fridge were in a horrible state, the towels provided were dirty; the bedding smelled horribly. The room itself looked and smelled bad. Not even 5 minutes into the room there was a roach. Really uncomfortable to rest knowing everything is so dirty"

"My overall experience would have been a 3 to 4 star rating, up until I woke up in the morning, got up to go to the restroom, then upon returning to bed, discovered that I had rolled over and killed 3 small cockroaches in my sleep, which were squashed into the bed sheets! I immediately showered and left the property. To be fair, I answered all the rating questions without letting the roaches factor into the overall rating. I can deal with A LOT of things, but the bugs were a bridge too...
