"Due to my time of arrival, I collected the key the day before which was really good but, there was no milk in the fridge when I arrived late at night. The staff were very good when Expedia mucked up my booking then charged double to change the date ! Would not use Expedia ever again"

"The hotel location is fine, but anywhere in Christchurch city will be close to everything there. I stayed in a 'club room' which was very ordinary and in need of some improvement. Worst of all was the club lounge - terrible location and atmosphere, and a complete waste of money unless you're there only for the free evening drinks. The evening canapes were so ordinary and almost exactly the same every evening. The club floor breakfast was ridiculous - cereal, dried fruit, salami, cold ham and...

"Basic but nice. Friendly, helpful check in, showing us where all the amenities were on our way to our room. Everything was reasonably clean and tidy. We enjoyed the free access to the dining area to make a coffee and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The chiller in the hotel was a bit noisy during the night turning on and off."

"In the middle of the nite there are lots of police car sirens, some drunks talk loudly, and the worst was a couple of drunks fighting loudly and involve police. It was weekend nite though.."

"This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. "

"This is a rather posh hotel on a restored old college campus. Currently, the area houses art studios, shops, music/art classes, restaurants, food trucks and a Michelin star rated wine bar. The area is very walkable and across from an incredibly beautiful park."

"Excellent location. The host is awesome. Check in included a tour of the room, ammenities & an offer of help with our luggage. We went with the split level appartment which was great but you need to carry your bags up stairs. Location is close to the beach, shops & restaurants."

"Staff where awesome very helpful and kol to chat with. Sadly a group came in and they messed up the bathroom and showers up stairs. It was very stressful for the staff and other guests. The children where noisy and the group guests ip all night and morning they where very noisy. But the venue was kol and the Staff where awesome. I still recommend the venue to stay at"
