"Love this hotel, stayed here a lot over the years, only issue is the lifts are temperamental at times. And the WiFi is really bad in certain rooms. Takes a while to get it work, but laggy.. so I think that needs looking into. Other than that, love staying.. Will in the future"

"A lovely hotel, in the perfect location for transport+ sightseeing. Across the road from Cardiff Castle.
The hotel was lovely, clean rooms, hotel staff excellent+ very helpful. Breakfast was great. The only negative was the outside needed a re paint, but a great hotel and I would definitely stay again."

"We booked an Executive room and a Standard room for a combined 10 room nights and were very pleased overall.
A big positive was being given rooms next to each other, allowing our three children to share the Executive room while we were next door. We had requested this but received no confirmation beforehand, so it was reassuring to see the hotel had taken care of it.
Both rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were excellent, Wi-Fi reliable and air-conditioning...

"The TV remote wouldn't operate when I pressed the appropriately marked Red on/off button. Journeyed down to reception to be told to press the No 1 channel button !! Back up ten floors come the time to sleep no button would turn it off. After searching for 10 minutes I pulled out the cable from the underside of the set wich was housed in a hardly accessible cabinet. Shower floor cracked and peeling very unhygienic. No usb sockets it's 2026"

"We were on the first floor so the window was so high up you couldn’t see out of it. The quilt cover was ripped at the top and had been put on inside out. The shower was ok but no instruction for use were anywhere to be seen. Staff were very helpful. It was a bit noisy at night as sound proofing isn’t amazing but good enough. The pitch of the ceiling in our room came down low enough that I could hit my head on it."

"My stay here was absolutely incredible. Not only was the location so convenient, I loved having the pub down stairs for snacks and recommendations whenever I needed. The room I stayed in overlooked the pubs garden and when you closed the window that thing was SOUND PROOF. I brought my dog and he was enthusiastically greeted whenever we came and went. Drinks okay, food actually very good."
