"While quaint, realize that hotels such as this one do not offer all the amenities of a modern hotel. For example, we arrived during a warm spell in mid-April and wanted it cooler in our room. However, the building HVAC system had not been converted to summer mode so a/c was not available. Also, through extremely convenient to the Sultanahamet and its attractions, it is also right on the metro train line which is noise and potentially dangerous."

"Its location was good and room was very clean. We got a little push back when we asked for another toilet paper, but it was resolved. Had to advance order for breakfast so we missed our window .Good directions to grand bazaar but wasn't told their were many tea shops 4 blocks away? so that info would have been helpful.Hotel on a busy street , so a little noisy but close the windows.We weren't told that when you turn off the lights ,electricity in the room turns off. So you can't charge phones...

"I would classify this place as a “boutique hotel”. I has a charming style all its own. It location is perfect for visiting some of the more well known landmarks like The Blue Mosque or the Basilica Cistern. There are plenty of restaurants ranging from simple to the more expensive within walking distance. The hotel itself offers a restaurant of its own. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
