"Amazing views of water and sunsets. Nice pool (but too cold to use in April). Very good breakfast. Had 2 dinners in restaurant and they were excellent. Our room was small but had a nice balcony to watch sunsets from. A downside is that the walls aren’t very soundproof. Good location. Only 10-15 min walk to beach and tours. There is road construction by the Adeneau bus stop so you will have to use the temporary bus stop about 500m uphill from the hotel. The views, staff, and...

"Stayed in the family room. Good size with everything you need. Lovely shower. My only complaint was that the mattresses weren’t great. All four of us never really had a great night’s sleep. Loved the Sky pool. Bar the mattresses, really enjoyed our stay."

"The Solana is a fantastic hotel. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful - advising us what buses to get and where from (as the regular stops were temporarily closed), as well as advising us of all local discounts. Check in and check out were simple and deficient. The swimming pools on the roof were well maintained and have fantastic views of Mellieha, The breakfast buffet had am excellent choice of food and the service was exemplary. "Good option with good standard rooms if you're ok to "commute" to the attractions in and around St Paul's bay (or stick to the pool area all day), location has limited food options within walking distance. Room has a kitchen (upgraded maybe) with kettle, microwave, stove and sink but no tea or coffee is provided so bring some as prices will be inflated."

"The only good thing about this place is the view. They didn’t send the codes I needed to get into the place or for my room so had a whole of unnecessary hassle. My “superior “ room was anything but with a tiny bathroom and no superior appointments."

"We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property. The only issue we had was that our pre-arranged hotel transfer was not actually arranged. The hotel did not confirm that booking, so we ended up using the taxi stand, which was fine. You are a bit outside of the main areas in Malta, but it was a lovely hotel with a fantastic breakfast. We enjoyed the restaurants around the hotel too. Great views at breakfast! Nice, quiet rooms with comfortable beds! We loved the partial sea view."

Enkel de kamer die we hadden moest denk ik wel eens een update krijgen. Bij wind klapperde het schuifraam hevig van het terras. Door een soort van kokerraam was de kamer ´s nachts verlicht hebben hier een doek moeten voorhangen.. het branddetectie systeem vlak boven het bed flikkert fel. Zwakke...
