"The hotel was great, the 3 person room was spacious with a great balcony with a view of the sea and sunset and a large bathroom. The beds were so comfy we had a great sleep. We really enjoyed our stay and we would happily return. The restaurants on site had great food and large portions. Also great breakfast selection and plenty of space in the restaurant or terrace. Spa was great, we had the hamam and it was as good as it was in Turkey. Went for a boat trip, the pick-up was close to the hotel which was amazing and so worth it. The only downs I would give the hotel would be regarding the signage around the hotel - when we were staying they were doing some works next to the pools and also there was some filming done around the hotel so some paths were closed and we had to go around. The issue is that the 4 buildings of the hotel look almost the same and the signage was not large enough or clear enough so we ended up lost and going in circles and we've seen many other guests doing the same. Another one would be that even though housekeeping would come everyday and the room was clean, the bedsheets have not been changed at all during our 6 nights stay which I would have like to have it done at least once. Also a few more hooks for hanging stuff in the bathroom would be great as I mentioned, there were 3 of us and we found we didn't have enough space to hang all the towels to dry. And a clothes airer on the balcony for wet bathing suits would be the cherry on top."

"Can’t really go wrong with this hotel. Stayed here for 5 nights. Rooms were clean, very well organised. I had a top floor room (405) and had a balcony that faced the sea and the pool. AC was broken at first but the maintenance staff were so quick to repair it, didn’t even need to ask twice. The Nepali maintenance man made my stay absolutely perfect and deserves a raise as every time I saw him, he was working so hard and determined to do a good job at everything he put his mind to. Be sure to keep the AC on when you’re not in the room though, else you’d be greeted with a boiling hot room on your return. The receptionists at first left a really bad impression: they couldn’t offer any advice on things to see (one instead suggesting I use Google rather than asking her). However, that same receptionist turned out to really care about her job after she scoured every room looking to return a lost phone to the rightful owner. So they do care, they’re just curt and not enthusiastic about being there. Location is quite bad unless you want to be away from everything. It’s not actually in St Paul’s Bat proper, but rather in Xemxija, a small suburb on the outskirts of St Paul’s Bay. Still, plenty restaurants; a few shops; a fresh fruit market. We had everything we needed and didn’t mind the quiet."

"We had an excellent experience at this hotel which is certainly punching well above its weight and exceeded all of our expectations. Staff were amazing with a special mention Rj the wonderful Rabi and the housekeeping staff. A great base for exploring the area and the attached restaurant The Core was exceptional and offered a relaxed experience with beautiful food."

"We stayed at 5 hotels on our visit to Malta and Gozo. We only stayed at this hotel for one night, but found the location to be excellent. It had a good sized swimming pool with amazing views over Mellieha Bay. Our room was very big and we had a small balcony that had great views. It was within very easy walking distance to the main square by the church and restaurant's. The breakfast was very good with a varied choice of hot and cold foods. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags in a secure place as we arrived early, plus we were given nice clean pool towels and allowed to use the pool prior to us checking in. Would we stay here again, yes very much so."
