"The room was outdated. The pictures online was very deceiving. The room and property didn't look as the pictures shown online. If we wanted to cook it wasn't possible because the hot plate was old and rusted. Pots and pans are filthy. I don't know if the bar was well stocked, I only had a beer. Food was pricey. Property was far from everything. If you need to go anywhere you have to take an Uber which was so expensive. They charge US dollar. "

"We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. "Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. "We had a wonderful stay at the Crane Resort. Our room and view were amazing. The staff members were top tier, so friendly and helpful. The restaurants were brilliant esp Zen. We looked forward to breakfast overlooking the beach every morning. Can hardly wait to return. "

"The rooms have been considerably upgraded and are much more comfortable than before Marriott took over. But the use of buffet-dinner arrangements at premium prices is disappointing and not good value for money. You don't pay these sorts of prices to have to serve yourself. Apart from the room renovation the hotek is not much improved from the Elegant days but is much more expensive. "
