"I liked the leisure complex which was obviously built more recently than the hotel. Lovely pool and steam room. The gardens were also lovely- you can sit out and have a drink- great when the weather is sunny.?handy for Aldershot and nearby army venues"

"Room was infested with moths. Breakfast menu stated back bacon but only served streaky which was more fat than meat, eggs were severely undercooked. Danielle at hotel reception was very helpful."

"Comfortable bed, friendly greetings on arrival, clean kitchen area and lots to offer for breakfast. Fridge in the room which is quiet unlike some places! Hairdryer, kettle and provisions in the room, plenty of plugs, touch bedside lamps, big TV screen, mirror, table and chairs sitting area by the window. Separate Shower rooms compact but very clean."

"The hotel is an oasis of peace in a beautiful Surrey town. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. However the room was not as luxurious as the photos had led us to expect. Also curry night needs to consider English tastes, the korma was so spicy I could not eat it, very disappointing. Overall I would recommend the hotel as the situation, grounds and staff were brilliant."

"The Angel Posting House is a quirky Tudor-era property, with long and interesting history and many historically-famous guests. Thus the property has a many different levels and steps up to the rooms; each with a wonky charm; typical of this era dwellings. On top of the olde world charm, it still has a modern fit-out and was a very comfortable stay. The beds a re great, the staff were most courteous, and while no on-side breakfasts, there was a deal with a neighboring establishment which provided...

"My only complaint is that I was on the ground floor and the floors above head really creaky floor boards, so I was frequently woken up but those above me moving around."

"The hotel is in an excellent location right in middle of town within walking distance of everything Basingstoke has to offer. Reception and eating areas we're modern and clean and the breakfast was very good with lots of options. The reception staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. The only thing was the room although clean and well presented was a little dated and could possibly do with being modernised. If this was done it would definitely improve its 3 star rating in my opinion."
