The room itself was fine, everything needed to be comfortable but it was so noisy for several hours each evening and around 10 pm there was noise of furniture moving or similar from the room or area above - made it quite hard to rest or sleep
The room is clean, however the wall is very thin, and when we checked in, there is leaking in the bathroom and lack of hot water, we could barely enjoy the jacuzzi. Location is not bad, about 15m walk from the train station and in a very residential area.
The smell in the bathroom was suffocating and made it unusable. It smelt like gone off cabbage, must be a sewer issue. I closed off the bathroom and sprayed the room with perfume to mask the smell so I could sleep. The man at the front desk was lovely and bed comfortable

A retro (but not in a good way) hotel.
The hotel is clearly indeed of updating. Rooms are fine and were clean. Mine had a sauna and very retro jacuzzi bath, but clearly the sauna didn't work, even though there were instructions (said about turning to number 1 on a dial, but no numbers left and nothing happened). The bed was very soft indeed and woke up very sore. Room did have a decent size TV and a fridge which is always useful.
The fact that they are still using lots of tiny single used plastic bottles of cosmetics, in this day and age, is just not acceptable anymore. So easy to change.
For the price, £148, not good value.
Très jolie hôtel avec un charme à l'italienne bien prononcé mais sobre, la nourriture y est excellente. Les chambres sont agréable harmante et Cosi, je recommande.
Everything was great except for the beds. Way too soft. Could even feels the springs. Didn’t get none of our family slept well. All other aspects were great
This is a nice hotel that benefits from an onsite Italian restaurant which serves good food.
The hotel is somewhat dated but for some this will add to it's charm.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.
The hotel benefits from being on a good bus route.

The room I was in was a bit dated and right next to the back room of the kitchen, but they closed down at 10:00 pm, so it was more of an annoyance.
The bed was ok, but didn’t find super comfortable.
The staff were pretty good and helpful. There were a lot of food options around and a bus right outside to get into Cambridge, but you can walk, or bike too.
I had an allergic reaction to a hosts cat and needed somewhere to sleep, The Sorrento Hotel was close by and offered a cat free, clean and comfortable place to sleep so thank you
Vrij luidruchtig in de kamer, wanneer de outlets gebruikt worden hoor je geruis, water in de douch duurt lang voordat het warm werd, en geluid uit de gang is duidelijk te horen in je kamer.
Even though my room was on the ground floor and by the main road, it was quiet and peaceful. Onsite restaurant was really good value and the food was of good quality. Very good location and access to the local area.
At 10 pm while I was taking a shower, manager who is in night shift, broaken into my room. She said that she broke in my room to check. I was naked, and so uncomfortable. How can it be happened? Isn't it illegal?
