"We arrived after a long train journey and a visit to the V&A. The guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Very polite and knowledgeable. Had a drink in the bar before we went to our room. Crossed the street and straight up in the lift to the second floor. Our room was spotless with everything we needed. Teas,coffee,hairdryer and toiletries. The bed was really comfortable too. "I've stayed here in the past and to be honest it was well overdue a refurb! The rooms are now clean and stylish and the bathroom was immaculate. As of May 26 there is still some work happening but it didn't affect our stay at all. The hotel is so handy for Camden Markets and local music venues and is a 5 min walk from the nearest tube station. As you would expect of central London there's a wide range of restaurants in the area."

"This is a typical mid price range London Hotel, it has a comfortable bed, a very small room. One Chair, a mini pulldown desk. they provide a bottle of water, but no glasses, no small Bath, Hair & Conditioner containers... it does have a bottle of unknown type soap, a shower that floods into the bedroom, and a mini sink... If I were anywhere but London I would have considered this a Hostel Room... Also my room had no window, just a fake door with a light behind it. On the Good Side the...

"The room was in the basement of the property and had a shared bathroom. I was not expecting either. From the pictures on the listing I thought I was going to get a room with a bathroom on a regular floor. My reservation was non refundable so I could not cancel it after I paid for it. The house is very clean and the owner was responsive when I expressed my surprise. However, I stayed 9 nights and the situation was not to my liking in that room. The room was very very small."

"The pros The room is clean and has tea / coffee facilities is close to Camden town and 20 min walk from st pancras The cons Room is small, shower has low pressure, 3 floors no lift and narrow stairs, did manage to store large case downstairs but needed 3 phone calls after 21.00 to facilitate which wasn’t ideal and traffic and pedestrians are noisy until around 03.00"

"First time in London and loved staying at The Standard, across the street from St Pancras station, which was super convenient for our train ride to Amsterdam. We got a king room on the interior w/ no windows which was surprisingly very comfortable, spacious enough for the 2 of us w our medium sized luggage’s. The hotel itself was chic, modern w a cool vibe, th bar was also really nice and would recommend the ginger margarita, definitely would stay here again"

"The rooms are very small for 2 people. The lighting is ridiculous. You can’t turn the bathroom light on full unless you turn the whole room on, just a night light. If someone wants to take a shower while their partner is sleeping you have to turn all the lights on. No kettle or amenities in the room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Properly very cleans. We had a heatwave and the maintenance person found us a fan since the air conditioning was not sufficient. Very good location for visiting...

"Perfect location if you are traveling to or from London via train or tube. Nicely renovated. Rooms are small but very clean. Nice coffee bar at the end of the hall. Helpful staff, especially the bellhop."
