"This little gem has become my home away from home in Oakland. It has everything you could want in a city that already has everything—great food, cool bars, amazing music, plenty to do, etc. It's all brand new in a renovated space. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are sparkling, and the service is impeccable. There's a rooftop courtyard, a game room, and good eats and drinks right next door. It's more comfortable than anywhere else in the Bay Area, and just as accessible. Well...

"The hotel is apparently recently remodeled and up to date with plenty of power plugs and usb plugs by bed headboard and working desk. The internet speed is a bit of slow and difficult for zoom talk. My room practically has now windows and phone signal was very weak. Breakfast is hot and quite decent , better than I excepted. Close to Bart station ( the reason I choose to stay here. "

"The hotel is nice and comfortable. I stayed on a weekend, and the hotel was fairly crowded. I was given a room on the third floor with a window that faced the frontage road and freeway. I didn’t want to have the scattered vibe in my room of thousands of cars whizzing by each second, so I simply pulled the outer shade down and left about a three inch crack at the bottom for light. "My earrings were stolen while we were out of the room. I placed my earrings in a sock and placed sock in my luggage I went back to the property a week later and the manager asked me to wait while he reviewed security tape. After reviewing the tape, he returned to the lobby and told me the reel didn’t go back a week so he had nothing to report. Before accusing the property of thievery, I checked my luggage and clothing thoroughly several times to confirm the sock wasn’t tucked somewhere. I...

"It's a very good deal, overall. I had the unfortunate experience of a guy trying to strong-arm his way into the place as I came back from the store. There was a lot of ranting and raving, and capitulation. The place is kind of nice though, really. I woke up to like 6 herons just kind of hanging out outside my window. Very cool stuff! It could use a solid cop or two, but the employees do their best. I think it has a pool, but I never got the chance to check it out. The location is excellent."
