"What a find! I needed to stay 1 night before boarding a cruise. All the other hotels were very expensive. All the reviews for this hotel were good so I booked it and I'm glad I did. It is inside a hospital but you would never know it. It's a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. I was traveling solo and a bit nervous but the entrance had a security gate due to the hospital. "The location is perfect—very close walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. However, the property itself needs a deep cleaning and the rooms are basic, Red Roof Inn quality at best. Definitely not worth the price. Most of the staff were useless, except for the wonderful lady who helped us with our bags and multiple other thing. She was the highlight of the service."

"Very warm and welcoming staff-allowed us to stow our bags prior to check in. Room was clean and bright-lovely view of the street through huge windows. Hotel is undergoing renovations but it did not interrupt services. Thoughtful room amenities-coffee machine is perfect. Location is great-walkable to all parts of Old San Juan and located amongst shops and restaurants. Will stay again!"
