"Excellent hotel and staff. Much preferred staying at this location compared to Fairmont Banff Springs (which is grossly overrated). Service was more personable, catered and staff seemed to genuinely care about the guest experience."

"Overpriced and overrated. The room was small and had a primarily obstructed view of an adjacent roof structure. When this issue was mentioned to hotel staff, nothing was done and no compensation was offered. Staff seemed uninterested and disengaged with the overall guest experience and did not even ask us how our stay was upon check-out. Food was overpriced and service was slow in the Vermillion Room. Overall poor experience not worthy of the Fairmont brand."

"This hotel is within the Banff National Park on the Bow River. There are mountains everywhere you look and a beautiful nature trail that takes you right into downtown Banff which is along the river. The hotel experience was wonderful in all ways - beautiful room, delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, (we did the Gold experience which I would highly recommend) heated pools, restaurants, and morning yoga classes. The staff were exceptional also. We can’t wait to return!"
