"Our stay wasn’t the best this time. We had high expectations since this hotel is advertised as one of the highest-rated. Don’t get me wrong—the main lobby, pool areas, and beach are beautiful. However, there was a very strong fragrance throughout the hotel that was overwhelming for me. Unfortunately, our room had several issues. The shower leaked, allowing water to come out from the door frame. The bed felt loose and very shaky. The mini fridge had a bad smell, and the next day when we tried to get a beer, it was warm—it seemed like the fridge wasn’t working properly. The fan would sometimes turn off by itself, and other times we couldn’t turn it off at all. The food was the worst part of our stay. Even though there were many options, I tried to keep my choices simple to avoid getting sick. However, the food did not taste fresh, and it felt like leftovers from previous meals were being reused. Unfortunately, the food made me sick. Overall, this stay was not very pleasant."
