"Staff is extremely rude and condescending. Consistently took very long to receive towels and waters States that it’s “all inclusive” but it’s genuinely not - charge for chairs at the pool and beach, room service fee, also open bar closed at 11pm, Couldn’t book a reservation for the restaurants throughout my stay. Had to go to concierge and speak with them for 2 days to finally get a reservation for the steakhouse, coming to find out it was literally the buffet food. Air conditioning didn’t work as well as Bluetooth system for music. Overall wouldn’t recommend, only pros were the location and view of the ocean. "

"Very good resort and stay for their rates Huge area Various amenities Nice pools Not that great beach, although very accessible, but needs a lot of work, NO CLEAR WATER!! Many restaurants and options, food is fine, Cancun quality anyway! Best option if you are traveling through expedia, you will get all the perks your are promised and for free. Brenda (supervisor) at check in and check out, was the best ever!!!!"

"Would highly recommend!! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and there were always cleaning staff in main areas. Food was exceptional. This is a more laid back resort which was fine by us however there is access to the other Riu properties for those who want more of a night life. We did take the provided transportation to Riu caribe to take in the white party which always a great time."

"In the hotel there is nothing to do,after you go to the restaurant. The buffet is very limited, we stay 5 days and only one of those there was Mexican food ‘, the water in the shower and in the wash basing smelled very, very very bad. The jacuzzi in the room was dirty with a lot of soap scum."

"The staff was super kind and helpful. We thought the food was good, not sure what other reviewers complained about. The property is 20 years old so you notice a little wear and tear but most of all it was great. Rooms were spacious for family of 4. Our only complaint was they do try to upsell a lot and join infinity group or buy spa services. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend for families."

"Immaculate resort, beautiful beach, impeccable service and amazing food. Thoughtful touches around the resort, both buffets and all specialty restaurants consistently deliver, pool activities were fun. The only item for improvement was the evening entertainment- the fire show was superb, the Broadway show was good, the rest was mediocre. But overall, we definitely will recommend to anyone and will surely return next year! "

"Very bad experience at this hotel. I was honestly ready to leave after the first night. The front desk was not helpful at all and didn’t try to solve anything. Worst customer service I’ve experienced ! it didn’t feel like a Hilton-level hotel at all. The pool area was also disappointing. Umbrellas couldn’t be opened, so there was no shade, and the water was very cold. Overall, a really poor stay. I would not recommend this place. Never."
