"Lift out of order. Pool spa out of order. Room and bathroom very tired. Room layout was like something was missing. Bed uncomfortable. Only upside was free water and 2 packets of biscuits."

"This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again."

" We stayed for a night. Excellent support from James. In a quiet area and nice and clean room with comfortable bedding. Bathroom a bit small but clean and had all facilities. John Lewis tower fan was so essential for the night as it was hot. Ty James. "

"The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude"

"Homely and welcoming accomodation in remote part of Lincolnshire. Food is only served to b and b guests, and bar is only open in evening. Perfect for visiting places such as Tattershall and Woodhall Spa"

"Although the Hotel looks a little tired and in need of some updating, our room was fine. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The Lincoln relies heavily on it's position at the top of the town and behind the Cathedral. It was also very useful to be able to park at the back with no worries."

"Located in Brayford Pool, where the old port wharf has been redeveloped like other cities (Gloucester etc) in has a car park and big multistorey next door as well.£10.40 for 24 hrs. Excellent position for relaxed dining and drinking on terraces/outdoors. Short walk to main High St shops. A significant climb up to the elevated section of the city with cafes,shops and the Cathedral and Castle. Spacious room, but a little expensive. Excellent air conditioning on hottest day of year .
