"Staff were really lovely and helpful. A minor issue (lightbulb in main light had gone) was resolved in minutes. Room was clean and warm, bathroom was dated but clean and the shower was really powerful! Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as my daughter is fussy! The hotel is ideally located for the town centre, piece hall and eureka, and parking is a 1 minute walk away. Have seen lots of negative reviews of this hotel but honestly there was nothing wrong with it. I travel a lot for work and...

"What an amazing boutique hotel. Fabulous location at the bottom of a wonderful cobbled hill. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Perfect location. Great cooked breakfast - very tasty. "Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond."
