"It was a lovely place to stay, the host was great, answered all my questions and the place was very clean. A very safe residential neighborhood, the highway is a little bit away, but the ocean is closer and every day you can go out on your balcony/porch and watch the whales and the dolphins."

"The condo is clean, next to a great swimming and snorkel beach, and has everything you need (pots, dishes, towels etc.). The property itself is old and needs some work, but the condo has been remodeled beautifully. I would recommend a small AC unit for the hot afternoons, but the evenings did cool off nicely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Great central local position on a great quiet street. Bit warm downstairs as we couldn’t turn the fan on but have the light off at bedtime for the kids. Close to airport, shopping and places to eat. Place was very spacious. "

"I would just like to thank the hosts for making our stay the most hospitable one by far. It was a peaceful and restful stay where we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves. My wife and I appreciate the care shown to us during our stay, for allowing us to check in early after a terrible experience we had in another hotel the night before. I highly recommend this place, conveniently located within close proximity to all amenities, food options, beach and the airport. "

"Guy running the place has knowledge that can make your stay bounce from great to greatest. "If you want an experience and not a hotel, this is a good place to consider. Don’t complain if you wanted a Marriott; it’s not the Marriott. The hostess and host are kind and genuine. The lodging is nestled in a neighborhood, but it feels almost like a jungle. The shower is outside and is reasonably private. Don’t mind the geckos lingering nearby as you enjoy fresh fruit for breakfast."

"The host was very friendly, and shared some great tips for visiting the Hilo area. Check-in/out instructions were helpful and easy to follow. The building itself is a little tired and could use some updating/cleaning. The unit was well equipped and cozy. NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "

"Our stay at the grand Naniloa was ok. I would say 3 stars. Not 4 and it wouldn't allow me to unclick that 1 star. Staff was great but the only down fall I really hated about staying here is because I feel they did not accommodate the guests parking at their property. Every parking stall in the property was only valid for valet parking which was $25. Can u imagine paying that for everyday of your stay. They make you park across the street in a remote empty parking area where there is low light...
