"Very nice property, right in walking distance to good food and shops. We got stuck in the ground floor room next to the stairs, so that was kinda loud. But room and property itself was very nice and reasonable. Heater and fireplace made room cozy when it was a little cold. Would return. "

"Located just across from Asilomar entrance, less than 5 minutes walk to conference center and dining hall (can buy meal tickets for attending conferences), closer than many rooms on site, but much more private and quiet. The buildings look worn/old, but the rooms were large, clean, and comfortable with a gas fireplace, sitting area, bathroom with large jacuzzi tub/shower, tv, microwave and fridge, wet bar, and better than expected local drip coffee. "The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and at a nice temperature. There were yard games as well. The hotel is a short distance from restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The check-in person was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. We would return here again to explore Carmel and Big Sur. "
