"In my experience traveling twice yearly from the north to Florida and back, this Fairfield hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel and our room both were very clean and fresh feeling. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely walk-in shower, comfortable beds and a large screen TV which we were easily able to hook up to our computer. Breakfast was very good too. We'll be back."

"The carpet was dirty and look like it hasn't been cleaned in a decade or so and hasn't been replaced since the place was built. The wall was dirty and stained. The bed was very comfortable but the pillow was not."

"Great location with a historic feel right on the main street with shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Breakfast is a step above highway hotels but nothing to rave about. Common areas are abundant indoors and out with lovely furnishings. Bedrooms are a bit dated."
