"Based in a fabulous converted old house with an inner courtyard based in the centre of La Laguna within four minutes walk of the cathedral. We had originally booked Manila suite but, on reading reviews about noise (although apparently it has now been double glazed) and speaking with the property, we decided to upgrade to the Amaro Pargo suite, which was lovely and spacious and at the back of the property, with a large balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and beautiful glazed balcony...

"Perfectly ok for 1 night prior to cruise. Easy to find and easy to access using PIN code. Beware no reception in evening and NO lift. Room smelt musty and damp. Breakfast very poor. Very expensive for what you get. If I’m ever in need of a night stay in Tenerife again between north airport and cruise terminal I won’t stay here again."

"I think for the area, this is one of the nicer hotels. Location and parking are decent. The rooms look nice, but my husband and I found the beds to be a little uncomfortable and felt like the cleaning staff didn’t really clean the room, just changed the bedding and towels. He We only had our room cleaned once and I can tell almost immediately that the bathroom countertops had not been wiped down. You have to pay to use the safe which just feels like you are being taken advantage off. Good drinks...

"The hotel in Tenerife was great. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was top-notch, with really good quality. The only downside was that you could hear a club nearby at night, and sometimes there were fights or disturbances right outside the hotel around 4 a.m. Also, smoking was allowed on the balconies, which meant that if you slept with the window open, the smoke often came into the room. Still, it was a lovely stay, as long as you keep those points in mind."

"Posto onesto e semplice. Se ti serve una camera doppia per 1/2 notti e' perfetto. Su Expedia ho trovato il prezzo più basso. La camera ha un letto comodo un appendiabiti artigianale e un tavolo pieghevole con una sedia. La finestra da sull'interno ma si può chiudere con la tenda per la privacy, ci sono due ragazze che lavorano facendo check in e pulendo le camere, onore a loro. I bagni maschili erano puliti ma serve qualche intervento di sostituzione o pulizia del telefono delle docce. Sul tetto...

"Service was excellent. Great location. Beds were comfortable. The only issue was some mold in the bathroom ceiling due to no windows in that rooms. I notice a few black spots only. I will definitely recommend this place to my relatives and friends."

"Amazing breakfast and dinner. Spotless! You can feel the hotel had its splendid times in the past with all good quality finishings of the room and jetted bath. The resort has many things for a family holiday including tennis court, small but good gym, kids club, big pool for families and all the entertainments for kids as well. I have to say it’s my first time seeing staff cleaning a plant leaf by leaf! The furnitures are old but they are spotless! The staff love their job and they do a good...

"The staff were very nice. The bathrooms weren’t fully functioning (cold water, plugged drain, no inner shower curtain and outer curtain covered in mold). Towels were clean but noticeably old and tattered. On the fourth floor without elevator access so don’t plan on bringing any large bags. No hand towels. Overall clean."

"Leider wsr mein Zimmer sehr klein. Das Fenster konnte man nicht schließen, Es blieb eine 10 cm Lücke offen. Der Zigarettenrauch von den Balkonen kam so ins Zimmer. Außerdem war es sehr laut. Schlaf nur mit Gehörschutz möglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ganz OK. Der Preis war auch günstig. Vielleicht hatte ich nur ein schlechtes Zimmer bekommen."
