The rooms were extremely clean and the shower was great too. What amaze us even more was the breakfast quality; the fruits were probably one of the best quality we have ever had. Simple but tasteful. "Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. Our room was big , very clean and bathroom was great. I would totally recommend going to her place . They also give tours of their vineyards and olive oil factory. I wish we could have stayed another...

"Great location, easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Owner was very friendly and gave us lots of great information on what to do in the town and in the area. Delicious breakfast with cakes, which were fresh baked every day by the owner. One day it was grape cake with grapes from her garden. Very pleasant and enjoyable place to stay we would definitely go back. "

"This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. "The hotel is a beautiful ancient building in a very pretty Tuscan hill top town. The views from the terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants in the beautiful old street the hotel fronts onto, so going out to eat was a breeze. The hotel has its own parking. Towels for the pool are provided. "

"This is a very authentic Tuscany experience. The bed was large and comfortable and so was our entire room, an updated farmhouse type building. Very clean and with all the amenities. The food for breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. The dining in the evening was absolutely wonderful. This place has a quaint rustic feel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We loved staying at the Relais so we could drive to wineries and also San Gimignano. Highly recommend!!"
