So many places we visited were overly crowded & this location was perfectly situated in Tuscany between Siena, San Gimignano, and other destinations while providing a refuge from the crowds. Castellina in Chianti is small, but it has several great restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Lots of options, with something for everyone. We loved the historic nature of this...

"This hotel is just amazing! The view of the vineyards and olive trees are soo gorgeous. We were welcomed with wines and generous amount of tidbits. The rooms were extremely clean and the shower was great too. What amaze us even more was the breakfast quality; the fruits were probably one of the best quality we have ever had. Simple but tasteful. "The hotel is a beautiful ancient building in a very pretty Tuscan hill top town. The views from the terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants in the beautiful old street the hotel fronts onto, so going out to eat was a breeze. The hotel has its own parking. Towels for the pool are provided. "
