"We had been traveling nonstop on the Highlands and we're looking forward to getting a good night sleep at the Marriott in Glasgow. Went to bed and was woken by the loudest alarm at 6am. Got dressed and opened our doors to find other guests coming out of their rooms too. Before getting to the staircase we were told it was a false alarm and went back to our room. Had a difficult time falling back to sleep. After we woke up to depart and check out, we ask d the front desk if we could get some kind of credit or maybe a free breakfast for the inconvenience and they said it want their problem that caused the alarm. Are you kidding me?! Hospitality is crap at this place. Will never stay there again and we do not recommend anyone to stay there"

"The staff at this lovely restored 18th century building is exceptional. There is a bar inside and a lovely back garden space where we enjoyed the sunshine after a day touring the Paisley Abbey and Sma Shot Cottages nearby. The breakfast we chose (salmon, scrambled eggs and toast) was excellent. Comfy beds, lovely decor and good water pressure in the showers. Also very close to the airport. We picked up sausage rolls and scones from the market on the Saturday morning before our flight."

"Had a pleasant stay. Room was a bit tired bathroom door needed repainting. Food was lovely but took a long time to come. Leisure area was good but had missing tiles around the hydrotherapy pool"

"I recently enjoyed a two-night stay at the Lynnhurst Hotel in Glasgow, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully presented, with a relaxing atmosphere and a truly welcoming feel throughout. The dining was excellent, offering high-quality food that exceeded expectations, and the staff were outstanding—consistently attentive, friendly, and eager to help with anything we needed. What made the stay even more impressive was the value for money; the pricing felt very reasonable given the level of service and overall experience provided. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will certainly be returning in the future."

"Beautiful hotel set in a lovely area. Overall staff were very friendly however there were quite a few times across the stay that we had to wait a while to be seen to. There was a wedding on the day we arrived, which obviously we expected with it being a wedding hotel but they had the drinks reception at 2.30PM which is the time of check in, and the drinks reception was in the main reception which was a bit of a nightmare for getting luggage in, and was very awkward. We took our baby to the soft play which was a nice option to have but most of the toys for babies were broken or out of battery which was a shame and is an easy fix. Pool was fantastic, family changing facilities was the best I've seen and staff there were excellent. We had Dinner in the restaurant which was okay. Took a while to be seated and lack of staff in the restaurant meant to took a while when asking for something. My wife asked for steak frites and only got a steak which was quite strange. Breakfast was included which was nice, however there was quite a few items that were already finished and we were down quite early. Overall, it felt like other hotel guests might be seen as an afterthought when there's a wedding on. Which is a real shame as the hotel is excellent and we were really looking forward to it. "
