"Clean and new room. Had towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Love their scent! Everything was great. The only loud noise that woke us up was the sound of ambulance or police sirens that passed by. The AC makes a bit of a noise but it was like a white noise machine which actually helped drown the noise outside since we're near a main road."

"Our stay was comfortable. Our room had to be changed because it lacked a shade for the window, which allowed sunlight to enter the room in the early hours, waking us up. The breakfast situation was extremely disappointing, charging $15 for each person. With hotel prices having gone up, breakfast should have been included. Most other chains are doing this."

"Breakfast food always out ; refills not fast enough @ 8am and not a lot of guest. Hotel's showing age in carpet ,bathroom wall & grout. Overall stay is ok. I stayed in this place many times & did not know that they are now pet friendly - I have a child who is allergic to pet dander."

"This is a basic budget motel - adequate, but I have no desire to return to this property. Pros: - located in a nice neighborhood that is an easy 1-mile walk to the heart of Pacific Grove - friendly and helpful front desk staff - the king bed room was large enough for 2 people to move around comfortably. Cons: - fewer parking spaces than rooms. Our room did not have a parking space, and when we parked at the closest space, the people who were checking into the room directly in front of that...

"The location and friendliness of the staff made our stay here wonderful! We were just five minutes from downtown and the pier, making it easy to visit both locations in the same day. The front desk staff, i don’t recall his name, was very helpful and accommodating during our stay, he helped us stay in our same room when we decided to extend our stay so we didn’t have to check out and back in. He also provided us with some great recommendations to restaurants and places to visit in Santa Cruz."
