"The hotel looks nothing like the photographs. It is run down and poorly maintained. It is grubby. The whole hotel reeks of chemicals - bleach and chlorine. Even in the corridors on the second floor. It was really bad in our room which was tiny and airless with a window facing a brick will. Felt ill with the smell. Chose the hotel for the spa facilities but left without checking it out due to the overall cleanliness and stench."

Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money.
