"We had a great stay at this hotel in Novato. The room was spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day, which worked perfectly for us and kept everything clean and tidy. The free breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff was always nearby to refill items and make sure guests had everything they needed. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. If we come back to Novato, we will definitely stay here...

"The desk clerk was not at all knowledgeable about the area as far as restaurants were concerned. He never even let us know where the breakfast area was or that there was one. The horizontal blind in our room had broken slats on one end so anybody walking buy could see in. The bath towels were sized for a child not an adult and I am only 5'4" tall."

"The big problem was checkin staff, they insisted I was not in the computer despite my copy of my confirmation number, my Real ID drivers license etc. They were impatient and incompetent, particularly in dealing with the names and paper work, and were not pleasant about it. To my shock we were basically raising our voices at each other and I was MOST uncomfortable about this.I finally did convince them of my identity, but it was a very poor experience in a very mediocre and minimal facility. "Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. This is an economy hotel. Be prepared for no refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, or breakfast. Coffee and cold cereal available."

"We were enjoying our stay until the checkout morning . The house keeping lady came knock on the door and OPEN the door Twice . It wasn’t even close to the check out time . We felt our privacy was violated. And we need to rush out of the room . For this reason ~ we won’t stay here again ."

"The room is not clean with some dirts on the ground and the cornor. There is no sofa so the room is large but a bit too empty. The restroom in separated into 2 small rooms and the wash sink and mirror is not with in the restroom. Also, fire alarm from 12 am to 1 am at midnight on April 12, 2026. "

"The staff were great and we so enjoyed this fun unexpected find! Free parking was included and an amazing breakfast was unexpected! We enjoyed it in the library but the open courtyard was beautiful too. Perfect in warmer weather. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. There are stairs only to the second floor so plan for that."

"Breakfast the first 2 days was amazing but the last day several people were checking out Monday morning and taking several plates full of food and leaving very little for other people staying there. We had 2 diabetic kids with pretty much nothing left for them to eat at 8:30 in the morning and it was a main reason for staying at your hotel."
