"The hotel is nice but is a little different! The layout is confusing but I would totally stay again. The 2 bedroom suite was worth it! The pool was clean and big also. We used the little arcade and that was fun but some things weren’t working the best. All in all we would stay again price wise, convince of two bedrooms when you have kids and location!"

"Our room was very clean with the exception of several days worth of dead bugs on the balcony. (Lake facing, lots of bugs daily). Breakfast was as expected, chicken sausage patties for the meat choice, would have preferred a second pork selection. Great public decks, bar and lounge. Plenty of outdoor space for our dog. We would stay here again."

"The breakfast ends way too early. And the front desk is weary about the shuttle bus for the mackinaw island parking. Other than that not a bad place to stay."

"The hotel was well located and clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff very helpful. The continental breakfast was very skimpy, cereal and muffins. Otherwise, it is a good hotel to stay at because you can receive a free shuttle to the boats that take you to Mackanac Island."

"Arrived at said reservation location, checked in, went to room and the Midge flies had infested the room. Most likely the maid had left the door open and forgot. There was a language barrier between the front desk clerk. Asked for another room; denied was told no rooms available yet one sat unused the whole night. Asked for a bed remake as the dead flies were in the sheets not just on. Clerk didn't bring all bed clothes and finally a woman appeared and remade the bed. This was over the 4th of...

"The beach area needs some love. The pool looks like it has been out of service for many years. Overall needs some TLC"

"The staff was friendly and the room was quiet and clean. The air conditioning worked well. The shower pressure wasn't very good. We weren't fans of the religious themes throughout the hotel. The television options were terrible - many hotels are switching to Roku or Amazon TV systems so guests can stream via their own accounts; this would be a major improvement."
