It was 200 miles from my stay in Cornwall, so I stayed after visiting two tourist spots, on my way home. Negatives Woken up in night by a talking sensor outside (4am to 5.30am) Walls so thin noises in next rooms sound like in own room. Shower not good, nor clean Not well cleaned throughout (although bedding, curtains, bedroom walls and towels were clean and fresh) Mouldy shower curtain Cold dark room (due to no sunlight getting in). Would be good on a hot summer day though! No pub to walk to, or anything walkable nearby."

"What a lovely time we had at the Belfry. It was our first time there and we stayed in the Tennyson room which had lovely views of the countryside and a feature stained glass window. On arrival, we were met by Neil who showed us to our room which was very clean and comfortable, with toiletries, dressing gowns and tea and coffee making facilities provided. Fresh milk and fruit juice were available at all times. A great choice of breakfast options were available and the food was excellent. Neil and Sarah are great hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. All in all we had a great time and we will certainly revisit. Definitely recommended."

"Clean room, with air conditioning, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the set Tuesday special menu meal which was very nice and the breakfast was good too. I will definitely stay there again."

"Had a beer in the garden witch was lovely, and was nice to see the water wheel turning during dinner and its nice they stop it during the nite which was blissfully quite. The food we had while there dinner and breakfast was very nice."

"Clean and welcoming, bed comfortable, just needs softer pillows. Breakfast was good nicely presented, however poached eggs were cold, such a pity because rest of Breakfast was very good. Will stay again. Good outside space to walk the dog."

"Had a lovely stay at the Ammonite guest house. The hosts were very attentive. The parking was either just outside or a space for a car around the back. Warning, it's a very small lane, wing mirrors in! 😂. The breakfast was very filling. Lots to choose from. Would definitely book again. "
