"We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The room was delightful and we slept very well. Dinner both nights was outstanding and we wished we could have stayed longer to try out more of the menu ! Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and also delicious. Would definitely return. "

"The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. "For an overnight stay on a budget, this was fantastic. The bed was comfy, decent pillows and duvet, the sheets and towels were lovely and clean and I really liked the brand of toiletries. The hotel/pub is really big and could do with some updating, but this would needs huge investment, so I'm not surprised at overall condition, but it's functional, clean and tidy. "Rooms are like ovens. Forget using this hotel if you can't sleep with heat. It's horrendous. No air conditioning, just red hot rooms with no air flow. Windows are thin and road noise is super loud. Avoid this place "

"The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. "

"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"
