"The motel was in a lovely setting, oak trees with Spanish moss, a nice dock on the creek. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Several good restaurants close by, Prime Steakhouse, a little pricy but very good. Ciao Bella Italian great. We enjoyed our stay here."

"I’m surprised this place hasn’t been condemned. First, I reserved a 2-queen room, and when I checked in, they put me in a single king room for me and my teenage child, saying they didn’t have a 2-queen room available. This was just the start, but I’m not sure where to go from here. - could not get the bathroom door open without banging it off the toilet. - The refrigerator door wouldn’t close, and when I opened it to look inside, there was a dead cockroach on the bottom of it. - it was almost...
