"The Nemea is next to the main Uni-Bordeaux campus should you have any business there. While right next to a hospital, it was very quiet (no sirens). Modern hotel, spacious rooms, motorized metal blackout blinds, kitchenette with small fridge and microwave, A/C that WORKED great during the past week when it was 99-104 F/38-40 C in the Bordeaux area. That said, there is not a lot of things nearby if you want food, other than a small bakery and a Krousty chain restaurant (stir-fried rice was rather...

"Good hotel near the old centre though tucked behind a very ugly couple of 60s buildings. 12 minute walk to the cathedral. Breakfast was good, though the room it is served in lacked natural light or character. Fitness centre was too small to use, but Basic Fit 6 mins away offers a day pass for €11.99 and is very well equipped. Room very nice and staff lovely. Decent hotel bar too."
