"The Nemea is next to the main Uni-Bordeaux campus should you have any business there. While right next to a hospital, it was very quiet (no sirens). Modern hotel, spacious rooms, motorized metal blackout blinds, kitchenette with small fridge and microwave, A/C that WORKED great during the past week when it was 99-104 F/38-40 C in the Bordeaux area. "Good hotel near the old centre though tucked behind a very ugly couple of 60s buildings. 12 minute walk to the cathedral. Breakfast was good, though the room it is served in lacked natural light or character. Fitness centre was too small to use, but Basic Fit 6 mins away offers a day pass for €11.99 and is very well equipped. Room very nice and staff lovely. Decent hotel bar too."

"Rooms were clean and comfortable with efficient air conditioning and good sized shower room. I especially appreciated the cold, filtered water machines by the lifts on each floor to refill water bottles at will for free. Breakfast, as a coeliac, was ok for France where breakfasts usually centre around croissants, baguettes and pain au chocolat! There was all that available in abundance but also yoghurt, fruit, cheese, scrambled eggs and streaky bacon alongside a token basket of sans gluten bread...

"Great hotel, spotlessly clean, quiet, great sleep, amazing air conditioning, fresh breakfast. Good location into city centre. Needs a safe in the room, and mirror near desk & plugs for hairdryer. Would definitely recommend, as good value, and would stay here again."
