"We stayed in a building separate from the hotel in three large suites. The suites are quite large with three rooms and one with two bathrooms. There is a chess board in each suite. The view of vineyards and the quiet ambiance complements the memorable stay. The staff is very accommodating and the dinner at the hotel was fabulous. This is a 5 star hotel, but I would give it a 10 star experience. If you wish to create fond memories, this is the place to stay."

"Very environmentally friendly lodging, in an extremely walkable part of St. Emelion. Nath's (owner) mother owns the restaurant across the street. She has some recommended bottles of wine in the room with prices very clearly labeled. It was great to have AC, and a mini fridge. Would highly recommend!"

"We recommend La Villa des Vignes unreservedly. Outstanding hospitality, aesthetics, lovely library/lounge and location. Clean, comfortable beds, gorgeous views from the breakfast room and its terrace, peaceful and quiet. There is no food except for breakfast so for snack lovers we recommend bringing a few provisions. But there is a small grocery store 2 minutes walk away so not a non-issue for us."

We had a room overlooking vineyards, we had dinner and drinks on the terrace which was an amazing dining experience. The choice of wine and quality of food was excellent, service was friendly and professional and we felt well looked after. We also had breakfast at the hotel which offered a great selection of food, however it would be helpful to have a menu for the various choices of eggs...
