"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was offered tea brought to my room on arrival. The bar was closed for one night of my stay, but I was advised the day beforehand. That wasn’t an issue at all. The location was great. Lovely local areas. Plenty of cafes and restaurants and walks nearby. Bus stop direct to the station right outside the hotel a real bonus! My room was light and comfortable. The shower base was not draining well and it did smell a bit. A lady cleaner had noted this as...

"Lovely room, helpful staff and super breakfast. Easy parking too. Only minor gripe was that the window didn't stay open and we had to prop it open with a toilet roll. The was a bit of an issue as the weather was unseasonable warm and there is no AC in the room. However, the staff did say this was already noted and action was being taken. This was our second stay at the hotel and we would certainly visit again."

"Interesting and understated small hotel in pleasant grounds. The room wasn't massive, but had a very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Excellent breakfast and really helpful, friendly staff. Parking was fine and the hotel is a 10 minute walk to Sharrow Vale Road and Ecclesall Road, and 5 mins from the Botanical Gardens. Highly recommended."

"The staff were particularly helpful. They were out of welcome cookies but told us to make sure to call back for them. Our request for a quieter room was accommodated. The room was immaculate, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both bath and shower. Faultless."

"Very close to Sheffield railway station and easy to find. Check in (& out) was easy and quick. Room was ready well before time stated. The air conditioning was very welcome on a very hot day. Room clean and quiet. I liked that it had a bath but as the shower was over the bath this might be a problem for the less able as climbing into a bath can be difficult."

"Even though the hotel was clean and well maintained, I found the entrance difficult to find and also a lack of parking which required parking my vehicle at a parking garage in the city about three blocks away. At night returning from there back to the hotel, I felt uneasy as there were some shady individuals in that area."

The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help me get a travel cot. The bed was comfortable and and curtains near to blackout. "I have never had such good sleep outside my home. We had an excellent experience here. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to Sheffield and highly recommend it to others. We had a top tier stay and were honestly blown away, everything exceeded our expectations."
