"The rooms are clean but lack basics. No water in the rooms. You cannot get food after 10pm. The jacuzzi is designed to kill you. There is so much chlorine it feels like a gas chamber. Its awful. Its supposed to be relaxing but you leave crying. The sauna and steam rooms are great. The swimming is good and perfect temperature. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. "A stranger was given a keycard to our room and wandered in while my wife was changing. When I told reception about this very serious and potentially dangerous issue, she said "Well what do you expect me to do about it?""

"Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception."

"We thought we’d booked a room and were given a suite on two floors which was novel. The staff were great and the breakfast fine. Dinner was excellent although a little expensive although I may be poor of date. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked good. You do have to book a time slot. We would stay again but prefer a room in the main house."
