Clean room with all the amenities needed and nice to have a bath. Attractive reception, lounge and bar areas. The internal fire doors were a little difficult to negotiate with heavy luggage and only 1 very small lift which didn't go to the same level or wing as our room. Some of the reception staff could be a little more courteous and helpful.

A beautiful hotel, which has been refurbished to a very high standard. The rooms were very clean, soft fluffy dressing gowns were provided along with snacks and water. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The centre was just a short taxi ride away (or a 10 minute walk) we had our evening meal there which was delicious. The only downfall was breakfast sadly which wasn't very warm and had been standing a while. We would definitely stay again.

Booked a superior room, the room we got was nothing like the pictures. It was small, and the bathroom was dirty. The hotel did change the room after deliberations. We ordered food at the hotel bar, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a sandwich and the service for drinks was poor. Hotel appeared to be run by all young staff with poor customer service. Also the sandwich we ordered in the hotel bar was requested without an ingredient due to allergies, and this came with the ingredient on. The room we changed to was slightly better and the staff were apologetic but we won’t be staying again.

We arrived early and the two ladies working the counters were absolutely wonderful. Both extremely pleasant, eager to show us a map and all their suggestions on places to go. The hotel itself is nice and cozy, very welcoming atmosphere. That however is where the good notes stop. The dining room was completely empty but were told we needed to book a table and had to wait thirty minutes before we could be seated by an unhelpful and disinterested woman working the counter. Dinner was mediocre at best and the service was almost non existent. Breakfast food was easily the worst variety of offerings and flavors. Upon checkout we stood at the counter waiting to turn in our keys while the only gentleman working continued carrying on a phone conversation with someone canceling their reservation. A simple acknowledgement of our presence or potentially putting the phone call on hold momentarily would have been appreciated. Eventually he looked up from the call and said "leave the keys there". The rest of the staff could take a lesson from the two ladies who checked us in as well as the pleasant woman who cleaned our rooms and the food could definitely use an overhaul.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The hotel itself is a beautiful hotel. Very nicely done. A little walk into town, but close enough.

Thursday it was clean but shower bin not emptied tv did not work Thursday , the said I could go to another room , no thank you, I was checking out, Friday , (28) th of December as I am disabled also , I will never book again.

Very poor the room had black mold on the walls no heating, bathroom was dirty overall not what I expected for the money , I’ve stayed in better hostels

Amazing decor, central location, staff lovely and polite, bed very comfortable- air con quiet , very good breakfast- self serve but great choices , will definitely be back and recommend.x

The hotel was exceptionally good, clean, spacious room. Breakfast and evening meals no complaints at all, Choice of menu v good, all staff very helpful, pleasant and willingbto help, i really do recommend a stay in this hotel. Train station across the road, so easy after a train journey

Very clean room, spacious, everything you needed close to town. Staff were very helpful and quick and easy check in/ check out . Highly reccommemd
