I didn't like where the out let's are not near not stand one can't use cpap. Has to bring extra cords the rooms could use fixing up needs paint dont like mirror across from bed . The staff was very helpful like I ccan get free coffees

Clean room, air conditioning, hot water, comfortable bed. Basic but close enough to downtown chicago to make the drive easy. For Chicago area, you can’t be the price!

Would not recommend this hotel, certainly not for a family. Very questionable behavior by some of clientele, and no attempt to hide it, at all hours.

La propiedad estaba sucia, la habitación apestaba a cigarrillo, no había agua en la regadera para bañarse, los pasillos para subir a la habitación estaban muy sucios, llenos de polvo y olían muy mal, el lugar olía muy mal no pude dormir, la ropa de cama y toallas estaban muy viejas y usadas, y habían insectos muertos dentro de las lámparas de noche.

I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is located near a very sketchy-looking avenue, and I did not feel safe during my stay. The room doors only had one lock at the bottom, which made me uncomfortable. The shower doors were also broken, and the room smelled strongly of smoke. What made the experience even worse was the staff member at the front desk, who was scoffing at me and seemed dismissive when I explained that I didn’t feel safe. I understand that everyone has different comfort levels, but I expected my concerns to be taken seriously. Overall, between the location, the condition of the room, the smoke smell, and the way my concerns were handled, I would not recommend this place!

Parking is okay but there was a staff member, I believe one of the maids, begging us for money or a ride. Definitely more of a hostile environment. Pictures do not capture the damage in the rooms, walls, flooring or ceiling. No lights or lamps in the main room, just the bathroom. The environment and illicit activities going on publicly were too extreme- we returned the room cards immediately and left without a refund or anything (and I had paid for two rooms, two nights). Wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you partake in those “activities” or are looking for a place to stay, especially as a young woman.

The pictures were nothing like reality I took a shower. I didn’t even unpack my bag. I did not sleep there it was so disgusting. Because of the event it was pricing of almost $300 and it was a complete dumpster fire. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some unique fabulously intrinsic even sketchy, but this place was just dump. I was really disappointed because I like its vibe But the pictures were nothing like the actual.

From the time we pulled up we didn't like it. People were hanging out nearby. Cats were all around and the room didn't smell pleasing. We left and didn't even stay the night. Wasted my money.

This property is falling apart. Paint peeling, floors cracked, toilet and tub/shower cracked, moldy. There was dirt and mold everywhere. The faucet wouldn’t turn off and ran all night. It smelled awful to the point of all of our belongings smelling when we got home. 0/10

My wife and I didn’t even stay more than 5 minutes. It was not clean and there were cats going in and out of open doors to rooms. Instead of staying , we decided to drive back 4 hours back home if that tells you anything.

Staff didnt speak english, the room was not like the pictures, they had stray cats/animals hanging around my motel room door, the location was so far from everything i had to uber/lyft everywhere i highly dont recommend

The mattress was decent. The air conditioner worked. The staff were polite and helpful. Those are the only good things I can say about the place. The room didn't have a couch like the pictures for the room advertised. The room wasn't big enough to fit a couch anyway. Isn't that false advertising? The room stank like cigarettes. The TV screen and mirrors were smeared from what looked like someone wiping them down with a dirty wet washcloth. Most of the towels I got with the room had what looked like pubic hair stuck to them. The front desk people got me new towels as soon as I asked. The glass panel for the shower only covers about three-fifths of the shower, so it seems like there was a glass door next to it when it was new that got broken and never replaced. Water got all over the floor every time I showered. The dingy-looking sheets and blankets on the bed had food crumbs on them, suggesting to me that the bedding wasn't changed since the previous room occupant. The most concerning thing was that most of the electrical outlets in the room didn't work. The outlet the air conditioning was plugged into was the only one I could charge my phone at. I'm from the Detroit area so I've stayed at some pretty lousy motels, and this place is right up there with them. I understand now why they wouldn't let me specify more than one child guest. It's because their motel isn't a place for kids. The Cindy Lyn Motel is a place for adulterers and hookers and other miscellaneous lowlife people
