"Booked a “non smoking” room. When we entered the room we were hit with a very thick and strong smell of cigarette smoke. They refused to give us a refund. We ended up having to go somewhere else because of how bad the smell was. Will not book here again. Do not recommend."

I left early after trying to take an afternoon nap and booked a room elsewhere as they were that horrible, and I could not imagine trying to sleep a full night there, The staff was largely unhelpful and didn’t offer any solutions. I expect more from a Hyatt and especially for over $400 per might."

"I purchased a Lake View Room, when I arrived they said my room was not available yet and moved me to another room. I could see the lake only if I stood behind the T.V. All three windows had no view at all. When I brought it up to staff they said that the room qualified as a Lake View and would not reimburse me or move me to another room. "I would highly recommend staying at this hotel! The property was clean, in a great location and had wonderful service. The breakfast included far exceeded other breakfasts offered at other hotels. The parking was also easily accessible. We received a free upgrade to a room that better suited our needs and this was something we didn’t even ask for. I will definitely be staying at this location again the next time I am in Chicago."
