"The Moda Hotel is a great place to stay of you ate looking to experience downtown Vancouver. It is located within easy walking distance of entertainment venues and restaurantz. My only complaint was that the bed was very firm and did not have a fitted sheet, only a top sheet that was tucked in. "

"The hotel is nice but for the same price I would stay across at the faitmong. It Took 1.5 hours to check in. We were told that our room was not ready and to come back when we received a text, which was totally fine. When I came back, there was at least 60 people in line to check in or waiting for keys. I ended up phoning the hotel and I was told to “skip the line”. So I proceeded to the front and then was told I would have to line up. After almost 45 minutes they had helped maybe 4 people. I called the help line again and was told the same thing. I said there was a huge line up and that it was unacceptable to only have 3 people at reception for a huge cheerleading event. I was told it was an “expected event”. Varsity cheer is planned a full year ahead. "

One downside was the shared bathroom setup—noise travels very easily. If your neighbor is up early (in my case from 4:45 to 8:00 a.m.) watching Tiktoks and using the bathroom, you’ll hear everything.
