Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. "We stayed in room 9 and it was quaint and delightful. The room was perfect. The whole hotel is just beautifully put together. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was great! The staff were super friendly and helpful. All around it was an excellent experience. 100% recommend!"

"Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"
