"The location for this hotel is great if you want to be close the historic area for walking tours of Cusco. It was super convenient for our tours because the meeting point was often set at La Plaza de Armas. Room was always tidy and the shower was nice and warm - which was different from some of our other stays in Peru. All the staff were so incredibly nice. And one of the best things was that if you had activities planned early in the morning, they would pack us breakfast to take with us....

Cusco has a lot of security and this hotel is located really close to plaza de armas which is a pickup spot for most of the tours. So very convenient!! "

"Atenas runs a great small inn. Close to historical sites and ten minutes from the main square, five minutes to the central market. Rooms are a little cozy, but modern with nice fixtures and a roomy shower. Even though this is close to the historical center, the rooms back on a courtyard and are very quiet. Great breakfast and small common area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"talk about history! walking into this place - STUNNING! BEAUTIFUL! i thought i booked a two story room but we just got a single floor with three beds - it was a stunning space but the bathroom was extremely tiny and the shower pressure sucked. there is a salon downstairs so we all had our hair washed there. the unlimited tea in the lobby was fabulous and so nice to snuggle in the lobby at night at the end of the day. everything was clean and the staff was very kind - some knew english better...
