Tityra Lodge

"The lodge is just outside the town of Monteverde. It consists of a series of cabins on the middle of the forest with glass façades that allow you to see the jungle from the comfort of your bed. Our cabin was spacious it had 2 floors with a smaller bed on the upper floor for our kid. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. It had a small ridge to keep our drinks cold and a portable a/c on the floor. Thankfully it was not too hot the night we stayed there because I don't think the a/c would have been of much use otherwise. The bathroom was clean. It had a shower and there were the basic toiletries. Breakfast was included. It did not have much to choose from but enough to start our day. The cabins are connected by a series of paths and there are additional paths in case you want to further explore the surrounding forest. There was a small jacuzzi (bath-style) and a sauna, which we used. They provided us with robes. After a day visiting Bosque Nuboso, it was a great place to relax, see and hear all the nature the area has to offer."

"Magnificent views from the level seven rooms and above. There is a lot of vegetation, and therefore a lot of birds, butterflies, etc. We were thrilled with all the hummingbirds we were able to see right outside our balcony. We tried the main restaurant and it was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and well while the rooms had a wonderful size and lovely beds."

"This was an amazingly beautiful hotel. We had the 2 bedroom villa which was newly remodeled with a full kitchen and gorgeous finishes. We saw a ton of wildlife right thru the huge windows in the living room and bedrooms. I will 1000% Stay here again when we come back. The check in was super quick and friendly and we came during afternoon coffee and it was delicious too! Can’t recommend this place enough!"
