"Unfortunately this resort is going downhill ! Lack of staff to include restaurants , front desk ( long lines at peak periods ) , and housekeeping . The floors in and around the casino need renovation . No storage space in the rooms as they eliminated the chest o drawers . Most of the good slots are gone and minimum bets start at fifty cents ( penny slots ) . Air filtration system is inadequate . Sunday brunch at Dragos had a limited selection , given the cost . It seems Lauberge could tale some lessons from Golden Nugget ."

"Overall it was a decent, secure and comfortable place for a night and the staff was exceptional, however when I took a shower, the shower head fixture sprung a leak suddenly and started spraying everywhere on to the hardwood tile which could have been a safety hazard considering there was no shower mat and for some reason, the water also smelled like a really bad smell bad which made for an unpleasant experience but I did mention it to the owner or manager when I was checking out and he apologized and offered to give me a partial refund which I refuse because that’s not really something he anticipated. The only other thing negative I would say is that it just does not feel like the safest place and I actually even had someone knock on my door at 3 AM and then come back around in an hour and knock again which was a little scary but overall, it was a decent experience and a good night sleep for the most part. I don’t know if they served breakfast or not. It was not mentioned to me on check in but but i think the comfy bed and the friendly staff went a long way toward making it and already good value. I would stay there again, but it would not be my first choice."

"We stayed in the handicap room. The shower/bath was a marvel of plumbing complexity but the shower didn't work. There was a lever to direct the water either to the tub or the shower and once up to the shower there was another lever to direct the water to either a wand or the fixed shower head. The first lever, the one for either tub or shower would allow water into the tub but when switched to the shower setting the water flow just stopped. The lever to direct water to either the wand or shower head just rotated without any discernable connection to anything. We reported this to the front desk in hopes that the problem will be addressed."
