"⭐ 1-Star Review We stayed at this property from January 16–19, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When we arrived, the house was already in poor condition. Several areas showed visible damage and lack of maintenance, making it clear the property was not properly prepared for guests. The biggest issue came when the heater stopped working, leaving the home uncomfortable and forcing us to relocate. While we appreciated being moved to another property, the...

"This is a hired company, acting on someone else's behalf with zero communication. Completely stressful when it should not have been. There IS a deposit that you have to email them a picture of your credit card, ID and a selfie but the actual amount isn't listed. Even Expedia had no clue the deposit amount. The area is not a good area, actually marked as an area to avoid. But we had no issues. House was clean but trash in the front yard and back yard. Biggest issue was communication, our place...

"My experience with this property was not satisfactory, mainly because of the restriction placed on the air conditioning. In the middle of summer in San Antonio, with extremely high outdoor temperatures, the thermostat was programmed so that guests could not lower the temperature below 71°F. For our family, this made the house feel too warm, especially at night. I believe that when renting an entire property and paying for a stay, guests should be able to adjust the air conditioning to a...

"I booked my stay through Expedia approximately one month in advance, expecting the room I reserved to be available upon arrival. Unfortunately, I was assigned the wrong room, and the hotel was unable to accommodate a room change because they were overbooked. This was frustrating, especially given that the reservation had been made well in advance. The cleanliness of the room was also concerning. For the first two days, leftover food from a previous guest remained beside the bed and went...

"The room was spacious and beautiful. The hotel was amazing"

"Stayed with kids and it was very clean and staff was very friendly. Pretty quiet and pleasant at nights. Breakfast was enough, not too much or too little. The only bummer was for my kids they were looking forward to the pool, but the water was really cold! It's ok tho, we still had a great stay!"

"Kevin the host was amazing. He greeted us and gave us the history of the building and surroundings. It was an easy walk to EVERYTHING! Best time ever. "

"Our stay at The Monarch San Antonio during the Day of the Dead parade weekend was disappointing, especially for the price. Check-in was painfully slow, with only one employee working despite the busy weekend. Dining was concerning because there was no allergen menu. With a serious tree nut allergy, simply being told food contains no nuts isn’t reassuring. Proper allergy precautions matter. At the bar, we waited 45 minutes while being repeatedly overlooked as guests arriving after us were...

"Went for a wedding. Good location on riverwalk. Pool was cloudy as I think they just applied some chemicals."

"We love staying her here for our UTSA games! The best beds & breakfast is always really good! The best place to stay if you're going to an event at the Alamodome."
